Marion – Shannon Michael Lowe, 30, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009 in Swayzee, Indiana. Shannon was born in New Port, Rhode Island to Steve and Linda (Hebert) Lowe, and they survive. He married Melanie Shook and she survives. Shannon was a 1998 graduate of Mississinewa High School and attended Eastview Wesleyan Church of Gas City. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, motorcycles, hunting, and collecting movies. He loved his dogs Storm and Roxy. His passion was working with young people and he had worked for 5-1/2 years at Whites Residential and Family Services with the youth.

Survivors include parents, Steve and Linda Lowe, Marion; wife, Melanie Lowe, Michigan; sons, Landon M. Morgan, Marion, Javan M. Lowe, Michigan; daughters, Grace M. Lowe, Marion, Callie R. Lowe, Michigan; sister, Heather (Aaron) Pratt, Marion, and half-sister, Wendy Lowe, Arizona.

Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Needham-Storey- Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana.

Funeral Services are at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August11 2009 at Eastview Wesleyan Church, 414 N. 10th Street, Gas City, Indiana with Reverend Mark Atkinson officiating.
